My family and I did the balloon ride with this company, we were totally impressed with the professionalism of the driver who picked us up from our hotel to the expertise of the balloon pilot. The entire event was on schedule and we got to experience the most amazing sunrise with dozens of balloons in the air. We highly recommend this balloon ride company. Other companies are not even close to the level of professionalism compared to Kaya.

A equipe foi super pontual no horário de nos pegar no hotel. Quando subimos já tinha alguns balões no céu, isso deixou a nossa subida ainda mais linda. O nosso piloto se demonstrou muito experimente, fez o pouso em cima da caminhonete. Voar de balão na Capadócia é uma experiência incrível e única. E a Kaya fez ela tornou-se ainda mais perfeita.

I would like to say that from the 4 countries that I travelled to (Turkey, Santorini, South of France and London) during my 1 year anniversary trip this past August 2023 from Toronto, Canada, this was the absolute WORST company to work with. It was the biggest regret that my husband and I had when visiting Cappadocia, and during our entire vacation in Europe. Kaya Balloons should be ashamed. I strongly advise anyone travelling from Canada or USA to AVOID Kapadokya Kaya Balloons. Firstly, we booked the hot air balloon ride through our cave suite hotel - we assumed it would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience that would have every detail looked after. Unfortunately, that was far from it. My husband and I were first to be picked up from our hotel at 4:30 am - we were on time, while all of the other tourists were picked up after and some were absolutely late, which shortened the amount of time on the hot air balloon flight. When on board the bus to get to the hot air balloon area, they give you a juice box, croissant in a plastic bag, and a small pack of pretzel sticks. There is not hot beverage or full breakfast provided. My husband and I were first in line to get into the hot air balloon basket. Instead, we were shoved to the side while they put other groups of tourists in. We were last to board the basket, and they separated us in the hot air balloon basket. There were 26 people all standing in one basket together. I wish I knew there would be this many - I do not recommend anyone take this trip with that many tourists. I complained and said this was unfair - we were celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary and wanted an enjoyable experience to enjoy the views together and take photos. Instead, they did not care and said the balloon needed to be balanced. The pilot did absolutely nothing to help resolve the situation to place us together. However, if they did their math correct, there was a large group of 6 elder women who could have easily gone into the 2 basket sections we were split into. Instead, my husband and I were separated and forced to be away from one another to experience the balloons. My husband was placed with some wanna-be influencer who wouldn't stop taking pictures of herself, as well as asking others to take them for her. It was extremely frustrating. We felt super discriminated against. Considering we paid 300 Euros for this excursion it was pretty heartbreaking to have had this experience. They are only after your money. We complained to our cave suite hotel manager, and he said he would make a call to the company, but I doubt that anything was done. We were not compensated for our experience in anyway. I wish I had refused to even get on, however they pressure you as you are the last couple to board. To anyone reading this and considering this excursion with the company, I really advise you to think twice and book else where. I honestly do not wish anyone to have this poor experience that we had. 1 month later and we still only remember this negative experience about our entire 3 week long vacation. Whenever family or friends ask about our trip, unfortunately this is the experience that stands out as being so poor it leaves a bad feeling inside of your heart and mind. I hope Kaya Balloons never treats their customers with such discrimination and poor customer service.

We booked this hot air balloon via tour package, which cost US$320 per pax (not sure how much local and our agency commission from this amount). They will pick us from our hotel to the venue. They provide a welcome pack with drinks, bread, snacks and wet tissue. The whole hot air balloon is about 1 hour, and they will take a 360 video of the session. At the end of the session, they will provide simple champagne , and gave us a certificate. They will send us back to the hotel. What I like about this is they are pretty organised, and helpful. What I don’t like are: 1) you have to climb in & out over the basket, with a ladder, which can be very challenging for some people. I saw other hot air balloon is the walk-in type through an open gate. 2) they will “pressure” you to pay for the 360 video. They will ask someone to pay US$100 for the video, and all those in the basket can share the cost. 3) they will ask you to give tips after the champagne session

Experiência única e maravilhosa. Atendimento primoroso desde a retirada do hotel até o retorno. Equipe muito atenciosa e experiente. Piloto sensacional, passa muita segurança, fez um voo muito tranquilo e um pouso ótimo. Vale muito a pena o voo de balão ao nascer do Sol na Cappadoccia... não é barato, varia de EUR 150 a até EUR 400 por pessoa, mas dá para entender... a estrutura necessária é cara e vale pela sua segurança.
